Friggin Credit Card Debt (Rant)

I have come to a point in my life where I despise credit card debt. I vowed last year to stay keep my credit card debt to under a hundred dollars a month. I didn't mind writing a check to these large corporations for a hundred dollars a month. That's fine. But, in no time flat, my debt ballooned to over a thousand dollars. A dinner out here. Drinks out there. A plane ticket. Hotel stays. Another plane ticket. And boom--that account balance is dancing at me, taunting me, laughing in my face and serving as a daily reminder of how easy it is to fall off the wagon.

I can pay off the debt, no problem. But at a sacrifice, of course. No more eating out this month. No more splurges. And the raise I got at work will now be applied to paying down/paying off this debt entirely. ("And then, I swear, I am never using the credit card again except for airline tickets," he says with his fingers crossed.)

Just a little rant to let you know how pissed off I am at myself right now! Like I needed Chinese food last night when I had a frigde full of leftovers. Stupid Molly's Brother! Stupid.
